Cerretto is a tiny village located in the middle of Tosco-Emilian Appenines close to Emilia Romagna, Liguria and Tuscany. In my city Cerretto is very well known because, I think more or less, every people here visited there when they were young or at least once in their life. My parents always told me a lot of stories about them when they’re young that occured in this place. Cerretto has some ski slopes but very a few because it’s not very big and there are some hotels where my family and I stayed for 2 days when I was a child so I do not remember anything about it. Last sunday my family decided to go to the sea, only to spend time because it’s not good to pass a sunday afternoon at home! So on the way to the sea my mother asked me if I wanted to visit Cerretto which is totally opposite of the sea, it is a village on the mountains but I did not care and I said yes. The trip takes, more or less, 3 hours but I like long trips.
When we arrived in Cerretto, I noticed that I did not have the right shoes for walking in the snow, I had ballerinas ahaha It was hilarious, all people with big boots perfect for the snow and me, with ballerinas on the snow :,D Anyway for january the snow was not very much, normally in this period it snows a lot in places like this but this year the weather has been really weird, even right now! At the center of the “city centre” (I would neither call it a city centre, it is such small) there is a lake which at that time was frozen but there were some beers and wines bottles stuck in the ice, perhaps because many people came here to celebrate the new year.
As you can see from these photos there were some people skiing but not that much for january! After going around, we discovered a place where there were somke stands selling the typical product of Italy and we bought a salami, arancini and many others things! At the end we found something interesting ahaha Since the time passed fast, there was already the time to return home and I managed to take some photos of the sunset…..
